Steven John Carell born August 16, 1962 in Concord, Massachusetts plays Michael Scott the regional manager of Dunder-Mifflin Scranton Branch on the hit TV show The Office.

Carrell went to The Fenn School and Middlesex School, and attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio.  Steve worked with the Second City Acting Troupe in 1991 then gained his popularity on The Daily Show in 1999.  One of Steve’s early notables was the voice of Gary on the Saturday Night Live animated short “The Ambiguously Gay Duo” according to the Steve Carell wiki.
