World’s Best Boss Mug


Usually the World’s Best Boss coffee mug is given to the boss by a revered employee.  But not if you are Michael Scott the Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin paper company.  The self-delusional character of the NBC hit TV series The Office, purchased this mug for himself and proudly displays it on his desk at the beginning of each episode.

The World’s Best Boss coffee mug, an over sized, white coffee cup with black Arial font lettering which made its first appearance in episode 1 the pilot. At the end of the premiere episode we find the coffee mug submerged in Jell-O as a result of a prank by Jim. Ironically, in season 6, we saw Michael give one to the newly promoted Jim Halpert.

Michael loves his "World's Best Boss" mug, although he bought it for himself at Spencer Gifts and we assume he has multiple replacements. We have already seen that he has purchased at least two, because Michael accidentally knocks one off his desk with a golf putter that he was using to practice with in his office after Dwight perilously places it on Michael's desk and another one shows up in a later episode.
