Fun Run t shirts were introduced in the fourth season premiere of the American comedy television series The Office. The show's fifty-second episode was titled the same, Fun Run.

As Michael arrives at work, he accidentally hits Meredith Palmer, played by Kate Flannery, with his car, giving her a visit to the hospital for a fractured pelvis. Michael forces the office workers to join in a group visit to Meredith in the hospital where he was looking for Meredith to publicly forgive him for the accident, but failed to receive one.

The combination of Meredith's accident, the death of Angela’s cat, and a computer virus on Pam's machine convinces Michael that the office is cursed. He insists that he is not superstitious, but rather "a little-stitious". Dwight finds out that Meredith has had precautionary rabies shot due to several animal bites.

Still feeling guilty about hitting Meredith, Michael decides to organize a charity five kilometer fun run to raise the awareness about the dangers of rabies. More than half of the money raised is spent on the check presentation ceremony, which includes a stripper in a Nurse costume to accept the oversized check.

At the end of the race Michael cramps from the fettuccini Alfredo carbo-load the night before. Toby wins the run. Pam and Jim buy a lamp at a garage sale. While in the hospital for dehydration, Michael is visited by Meredith who forgives him for hitting her with the car.

During the planning of the fun run Michael has Fun Run T-shirts printed for the race. All of the participants wear the shirt during the race with the exception of Andy who wears a traditional lycra-runners tank. The tight shirt rubs his nipples until they bleed half way through the run and through the t-shirt.
