| Finally, Michael see’s what a douche Todd Packer is and has been for years. Although we never saw it I would bet that Michael was the butt of all of the hazing going on when they were salesmen together. And Michael had no clue that Todd Packer was the initiator of jokes and pranks toward him.
So in this last episode I’m glad to see two things unfold. The first is that Michael’s eyes are open to Packer’s overall demeanor and realizes that he is not the true friend he had fantasized that he was. And secondly, how cool was it that Jim and Dwight teaming up together on a master prank, pretending that Sabre corporate is inviting Todd P. down to Tallahassee for the weekend and possible promotion. Normally, formidable foes, Jim and Dwight put all the past aside at least for one day to devise a plan and execute it together to make it believable. Hats off to them. I’m sure we’ll see them at each other’s throats in the last few episodes coming up. I’m still looking forward to the big build up to Steve Carell leaving. We can figure that he’ll marry Holly and probably move off somewhere but who is the replacement? |
