Dr. Kwame Owusu-Ansah Owusu Afram is a seasoned human resources, administration, and management expert with over 12 years of experience in both academic and professional settings. Dr. Afram holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management and Leadership from the Management University of Africa, Kenya, and is an accomplished professional with a diverse range of qualifications and expertise in human resource management, conflict resolution, strategic management, and leadership.
With a strong foundation in human resource practices, Dr. Afram has developed expertise in areas such as HR analytics, human capital management, performance management, organizational development, and conflict resolution.
He is a Chartered Practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (CIHRM), Ghana, a Chartered Professional Administrator, and a Chartered Management Consultant with the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC). Furthermore, his qualifications include an Executive Master's in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), LLM Labour Law and Practice, MA Human Resource Development, an MBA in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Laws degree, along with a wealth of practical trainings across various organizations.
Dr. Afram is currently serving as the Deputy Registrar and Head of the Admissions Department at ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø (GCTU), a position in which he provides leadership and strategic direction for admissions and recruitment planning. He is also an adjunct lecturer at GCTU's Business School, where he imparts his extensive knowledge in human resource management, leadership, and strategic management to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Afram is actively involved in consulting, offering his expertise in HR management and development, career planning, and organizational development to both public and private sector clients. Notable clients include the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA), Ghana Publishing Company Limited, and the Global Institute of Resource Development (GiRD). His consulting services focus on HRIS, HR audits, strategic HR planning, management skills training, and career development for students.
Dr. Owusu is the current President of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA), the ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍøChapter and represents the Administrative Senior Members of the University on the University Council.
